This weekend my friend Abbie and I went to Anastasia’s brow studio, located inside Sephora on 5th Ave in NYC. We didn’t make an appointment and it wasn’t for lack of trying, the times I did call no one picked up. As we enetered Sephora, we spoted the brow studio on the second floor, when we got there we saw 3 girls waiting. It was around 1:20pm and Emma, the only eyebrow specailist working that Sunday told us that the next avalible appointment wasn’t until 5:20pm. After much deliberations, we decide to take the available time and go shopping in order to kill time… lol.
When we went back, Emma sat me down and I told her exactly what I wanted. She did exactly what I had asked her! Emma has been doing eyebrows at Anastasia for 8 years and before that 15 years at spas. She took her time and made sure to even out my eyebrows. After about 20 minutes she was done, handed me a mirror and “voilá!” I had new and improved eyebrows! I was really happy with the results, after having really bad experiences at other places and having to wait months to grow my eyebrows. I was relieved to see that the trip and the wait was well worth it. Just look below at the before and after pictures.

First we had our consultation
Then Emma used a stencil to mark how my eyebrows are supposed to look

She followed by waxing outside of the marked areas using the Anastasia wax ,which felt very soft on the skin

Things you should know..
The price to get your eyebrows waxed is $32, however it’s well worth it. Eyebrow consultations are free.
It’s best if you:
- grow out your eyebrows as much as possible before getting them done
- make an appointment
- If you can’t make an appointment go during the morning because it’s not as busy.
