It’s the fall season and with the change of season, we look forward to revamping our wardrobe and beauty routine. But this time around because of COVID-19 to say things are different is an understatement! I know there is alot going on and while keeping up with the trends is not a priority, it does create some type of normalcy. That is why I wanted to share with you these 6 Trends of 2020. I hope you find a new look to try out! Even if we aren’t going anywhere, who doesn’t love to experiment with makeup?!!
Bold Lips
No “lip filter” over here, girlfriend! Put on that red lipstick because you are strong, confident and beautiful! You can keep the rest of your face makeup minimal to bring all the attention on the lips. Choose from brick red, deep red or a red with a blue undertone which actually makes your teeth look whiter!
Under shadow This look
Under shadow is so easy to create and looks fantastic in photos! Use any colored eyeshadow and apply it with a pencil brush to your lower lash line. You can also apply eyeliner in the same shade to intensify the look and don’t forget to add eyeliner to your upper lash line to balance out the look.
Super Shiny Glossy Lips
Long gone are the matte lip days and more and more we are moving towards a super glossy lip look. This is very reminiscent of a 90’s look but the formulations have improved! This look can purely be just a clear gloss or trace your lips with a lip liner to define your lips.
Embellished Eyes
This look was all over the runway shows and it’s definitely not an everyday look, however, it can be fun to create! Or you can surprise your coworkers with this look on your next Zoom meeting LOL
Super Shiny Skin
This look has been trending for a while now and it’s here to stay! You will especially like this look if you have dry skin. I created this look using a combination of face oil and liquid highlighter.
Maximalist Nails
Nail art is now a beauty category of its own. This season the bolder and louder the design is, the better- Think of jewels, dark colors, art inspired designs as ideas. There are so many eye catching designs that it will make you create a new Pinterest board if you haven’t already.
