Recently, I had to get ready for a party super fast and on a tight budget! Which meant, no time for a manicure and pedicure, no lash or tanning appointment! Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t necessarily have to go to all these beauty appointments to get ready to go out…But I do, if I want to look all glammed up. Keep on reading to find out how to get party ready on a budget!
Easy Hair Style With DryBar
If you are able to style your hair all on your own, then kudos to you girlfriend! All I manage to do is blow dry or put it up in a ponytail. Thank goodness for Drybar! If you haven’t heard of Drybar, it’s a premier salon that specializes only in blowouts and styles. I have a YouTube video about my experience there, which you can watch by clicking here. While the price for a blow out starts at $49, they have a service called dry style which is $25. You go with your hair already washed and dried and they take care of the rest!
Instant Mani With Kiss
The brand Kiss has false nails that can be applied quickly. It’s as simple as pushing back the cuticle and adding on the glue to the nail and then pressing the false on over it. Some of the kits have two options for adding the false nail on. You can choose to glue them on or the mega adhesive glue. Using the glue will keep them on for longer but later can be a bit difficult to remove. The retail price for a set is around $8.99!
Drugstore Tan
While getting a spray tan by a professional is the way to go, sometimes you simply don’t have the time or the budget. I am still on the lookout for a more natural tanner to review but for the purpose of this post I chose one that you can find at your local drug store. The Jergens Natural Glow Instant Mouse, it retails for $13.99 and will give you a nice tan! Don’t forget to exfoliate and shave beforehand.
Drugstore Lashes
One of the things that makes any look extra glam are lashes!!! The best place to get lash extension in Westchester, NY is Iconic! They are so professional and passionate about what they do! If you are curious about lash extension check out my YouTube video for an overview about the experience at Iconic! But in this moment, you have to get ready for the party now, so back to the drugstore it is to pick up a pair of falsies. My favorite ones are from the brand called Ardell, they have so many styles to choose from. I typically wear the demi Wispies and apply them with the brush on DUO glue. They typically retail for $4.99.
Amazon Outfit
The last step but the most important thing is… insert the Grinch’s voice “ BUT WHAT WILL I WEAR?!” (My favorite Christmas Movie btw). I found some pretty awesome dresses and clothing items on Amazon Prime. Most recently, I got this wrap sweater dress! I like it because it’s flattering on any body type and appropriate for a lot of different occasions! Can you believe it was only $39.99!
With that last purchase, the total comes out to $92.96 right on budget and so ready to party! Remember that beauty is only skin deep and what’s most important is how you feel! Have fun at the party, knowing you look amazing and didn’t break your budget in doing so!
